Hypocondriac 1^er, roi de Neurasthénie (Hypochondriac the first, king of Neurasthenia), was premiered in 2007 by the Compagnie Clin d’Oeil, with stage direction by Gerard Audax. It toured in France and was performed again in Paris at the Theatre Mouffetard. It appeared at the Festival d’Avignon, at the Theatre du Petit Chien in 2008 and 2010. The libretto by Jean-Marie Lecoq describes with humor a world in which everyone, in his/her own way, relish their misfortune.
